5 Major Mistakes You Shouldn’t Commit while Submitting UPSEE 2018 Application Form

#1 Slide: Don’t Sit and Wait for Offline Application Form

For the candidates of Uttar Pradesh who wish to pursue their career in B. Tech, B. Arch or other competitive courses must appear in UPSEE 2018. This year, the state level entrance exam has been scheduled to be conducted on 29 April. If you are one of those aspirants waiting for AKTU, the conducting body, to release the application form in offline mode, you are definitely mistaken. The regulatory body i.e. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University has made UPSEE 2018 application from online since 23rd January 2018.

It’s time to log on to the official website i.e. https://upsee.nic.in/ and fill out the form.

#2 Slide: Not Having Pre-requisites

Are you by any chance filling up the application form of UPSEE 2018 without adequate details? Students are advised to go through the Information Brochure before making advancement towards submitting the form.

What Students Must Have
·         Aadhaar Card Number
           The active mobile number and email ID
·         Passport size photo
·         Signature

#3 Slide: Some Fields Cannot Be Modified

Read instructions, keep all necessary documents and pay utmost care to the details. Unlike other entrance exams where candidates are given an opportunity to modify or do the correction to the already submitted form, AKTU has abolished such system. Check these fields and make no mistake: Your name, parents name, date of birth and UPSEE 2018 application number.

#4 Slide: Do Your Scanned Photograph and Signature Possess the Requirement Size?

The university has made it clear that candidates must upload his or her most recent color passport size photograph and signature with a maximum size of 100 KB and 30 KB respectively. Moreover, it is the responsibility of the student to ensure that the photograph is clear. It must carry your name at the bottom.

Failing to meet the requirements will result in the cancellation of the candidature of the concerned person.
·         Clear scanned photo of 3.5cm X 4.5cm in JPEG format
·         Clear scanned signature of 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm in JPEG format

#5 Slide: No Demand Draft or Cheque for Exam Fee

After completion of first two steps (Registration and Uploading Images), applicants need to release the UPSEE 2018 exam fee through debit/credit card, net banking, and eWallet. After successful payment, download the Confirmation Page and take a print for future reference. Also, applicants are advised to note down the transaction number.
